Step by Step Set-Up

Sign Up: Create an account with your email or hospital SSO.
Complete Your Profile: Add your bio, specialty interests, qualifications, and a friendly photo.
Become a Member: Fill out the Member Form to join the community database.
Choose Your Role(s):
- Mentor Form – outline expertise and availability.
- Mentee Form – set learning goals and preferred guidance style.
- Peer Form – share areas of mutual support and collaboration.
Algorithmic Matching: Our engine reviews interests, goals, and availability to suggest the best connections.
Connection Notification: You’ll be added to a private Groups chat with your new mentor, mentee, or peer within 4 weeks.
Find a Time: Use the Groups chat to lock in your first catch-up.
Hold Your Catch-Up: Meet in person or online.
Submit the Catch-Up Form:
- Reach Forward (mentee → mentor)
- Reach Back (mentor → mentee)
- Reach Between (peer ↔ peer)
  Include key take-aways and next steps.
Approval & Points: Once verified, points hit your wallet and your gain a streak, boosting your member status and unlocking perks.
Follow & Network: Visit the Community page to follow other members so you can get notifications of their posts.
Create your circle: Invite members to join your private feed where they can follow your posts and milestones.
Provide Feedback: Complete our feedback form to help improve the process, refine future matches, and personalise your recommendations.
Rinse & Repeat: Schedule the next catch-up, keep earning points, and watch your profile evolve from student to seasoned clinician.
Member Perks: Participate in our ClinCircle Streaks and Points systems to enhance your contributions to the community.
Install ClinCircle on iPhone: On iPhone, open Safari, visit your ClinCircle site, tap Share (square with up arrow) → Add to Home Screen, optionally rename, then Add. You’ll get an app-style icon that opens the site in a standalone window. If Add to Home Screen isn’t shown, use Safari (not Chrome/in-app) and turn off Private Browsing.

Followers and Followers-Only Feed

At ClinCircle we emphasise community engagement and encouragement. You can follow other members from the Community page in your Members area. When you follow someone, you’ll see their public activity (e.g. Community posts and blog articles) and you can opt in to notifications.

What is a followers-only feed?

A followers-only feed is a private space curated by a member. Only people the creator invites can view posts, react with kudos, and leave comments. It’s ideal for sharing catch-ups, goals, and progress with a smaller, supportive circle.

What you’ll see

Following feed: An aggregate of public posts by people you follow plus posts from any followers-only feeds you’ve joined.
Privacy: Posts in a followers-only feed are not visible to non-invited members and won’t appear on public pages or search.

How to use it

Find people to follow: Browse the Community page and tap Follow on profiles that interest you.
Create your followers-only feed: Find your private feed in your Groups section to share your catch-ups and reflections with invited members.
Invite followers: Choose who can access your private feed. You can remove access at any time.
Post & engage: Share updates, add photos or links, and respond to kudos and comments.
Manage notifications: Control email/push alerts for follows, comments, and new posts from your Settings.

Good to know

Control: You decide who sees your private updates. Access can be granted or revoked at any time.
Respect: All interactions must follow ClinCircle’s community guidelines.
Support: If you spot an issue or need help with access, contact us via Support.

Tier milestones (based on current points balance)

Basic – 75 points
Bronze – 150 points
Silver – 300 points
Gold – 500 points
Platinum – 1 000 points

Your tier badge appears on your profile and moves you higher in search results.

Mentor-development micro-workshop – 300 points
Host your own webinar slot – 500 points
Coffee voucher for your hospital cafe - 750 points
ClinCircle merchandise (mug, lanyard, badge reel) – 1000 points
Digital $20 Uber Eats voucher – 2000 points

ClinCircle Streaks

Why we use it
ClinCircle’s streaks keep mentoring activity consistent and visible. Logging catch-ups regularly shows that you’re learning, teaching and collaborating, not just dropping in once.

How it works

Every Reach Forward adds +1 to your Mentee streak.
Every Reach Back adds +1 to your Mentor streak.
Every Reach Between adds +1 to your Peer streak.
Your ClinCircle streak is the combination of all 3 Catch-Up streaks.
If you fail to log a Catch-Up within 10 weeks, your streak for that respective catch up resets to 0.
If you are not a consultant and you fail to log a Reach Forward within 10 weeks, all three streaks reset to 0. (Consultants never reset automatically.)

Level badges (only displayed while at least one active streak is 5 or more)

Level 1 – ClinCircle streak 5-9
- Digital Level 1 certificate
Level 2 – ClinCircle streak 10-19
- Level 2 certificate
Level 3 – ClinCircle streak 20-39
- Gold Level 3 certificate
Level 4 – ClinCircle streak 40-79
- Platinum Level 4 certificate
Level 5 – ClinCircle streak 80+
- Platinum Level 5 certificate
- Blog posting priviledges

If your ClinCircle streak drops below 5, your Level badge disappears until you rebuild a qualifying streak. Badges show on your ClinCircle card and can be shown on your LinkedIn or a CV.
